The American Lady butterfly can be found throughout most of North America, and can easily be confused with her sister, the Painted Lady butterfly. This piece was a real labor of love of careful glass selection with many wire work, overlay and paint details, and she glows with an intensity not quite matched by her flashy fused iridescent eyes!
 
This listing is for a Ready to Ship item - photos shown are of the exact piece you will receive.  I select and hand cut each piece of glass to accentuate all of the wonderful bubbles, textures and streaks in the glass. 
 
I do my best to capture the qualities and colors of each piece accurately, but please note that one of the coolest qualities of stained glass is that it will will look different every time you look at it!  
This American Lady butterfly is 16.5” wide x 9” tall (13” tall when counting in the antennae!), and ships with chain for hanging.
